MacBook Air M2: external monitor guide
Like the M1, the MacBook Air M2 drives one external display natively. A single-panel USB-C portable monitor is the direct fit. Two-panel products (triple-screen extenders, stacked monitors) need DisplayLink to light up their second panel. If you want two extra screens without DisplayLink, look at an M3 Air with the lid closed or an M4 Air.
