MacBook Air M3: external monitor guide
The MacBook Air M3 drives one external display with the lid open and two with the lid closed (with an external keyboard, mouse and power). So a two-panel product such as a triple-screen extender only works fully in clamshell mode, which defeats its purpose of using the laptop screen too. With the lid open, choose a single-panel monitor, or add DisplayLink for the second panel.
